Description
This 8-hour Competent Person level course covers the OSHA 1926 Subpart L Scaffolding Standard,
This course emphasizes Best Practices to enable supervision to efficiently plan for and implement safe and productive scaffolding activities.
Course topics include the scope and application of the standard; understanding the definition of a scaffold, Competent and Qualified Person requirements; capacity; platform construction; criteria for supported scaffolds; access; use; fall protection; falling object protection; fabricated frame scaffolds (tubular welded frame); mobile scaffolds; and training requirements.
