Course Description:
Complete your path to a professional certificate with Corporate Safety Management, the capstone course in the ASSP (American Society of Safety Professionals) Safety Management Certificate series. This advanced-level course is designed for safety leaders who want to integrate safety into their organization’s business strategy and drive safety culture transformation.
Gain insights into how safety fits within corporate structures and how to effectively influence executive decision-making. You will learn to:
- Align safety management systems with strategic business objectives
- Analyze corporate reporting structures and staffing models
- Navigate complex organizational dynamics, including mergers, reorganizations, and downsizing
- Apply leadership, negotiation, and communication strategies to influence safety performance
- Evaluate cultural and systemic factors that impact long-term safety success
This course is part of the Safety Management Certificate Program offered by the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP).
To earn your certificate, you must complete all three required courses within two years:
- Safety Management I (October 1–3, 2025)
- Safety Management II (January 12–13, 2026)
- Corporate Safety Management (April 6–8, 2026)
