Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training (PACT)
Program Description
BIA Hawaii’s Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training (PACT) is a comprehensive, hands-on workforce development program designed for individuals with little or no prior experience in construction. This full-time training introduces participants to the essential skills, tools, and knowledge needed to begin a career in the building industry.
What You’ll Learn
PACT focuses on both technical and interpersonal development to prepare students for success on the jobsite and beyond.
Career Pathways
Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in a wide range of construction-related fields, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and equipment operation. The program also serves as an entry toward long-term career advancement in areas such as site supervision, engineering, or architecture.
