Description
This 8 Hour Competent Person level course covers the OSHA 1926 Subpart P Excavation and Trenching Standard. Course topics include the scope and application of the standard; understanding the definition of an excavation and trench; Competent and Qualified Person requirements; surface encumbrances; underground installations; access and egress; structural ramps; exposure to vehicular traffic; exposure to falling loads; warning systems for mobile equipment; hazardous atmospheres; protection from hazards associated with water.
