CHRISTINE CAMP
President & CEO,
Avalon Development

Christine Camp is the founder and President of Avalon Group, comprising of three subsidiaries handling development, sales, and management of the real estate in Hawaii for the last 21 years. Avalon Development is currently the largest industrial land developer in the state with over 178 acres developed. Avalon also developed Hale Ka Lae a 269 unit project and successfully acquired and entitled the 788 unit Sky Ala Moana project for development. Christine has been an active thought leader of real state matters in Hawaii, specifically as it relates to streamlining permitting and funding of affordable housing. Christine is the Hawaii board member on the Federal Home Loan Bank and is a board member on Central Pacific Bank, Kahala Nui, YMCA, City Mill, and the advisory board of Catholic Charities of Hawaii. She was formerly the chairwoman of the Honolulu Police Commission, gubernatorial appointee on the board of the Hawaii Community Development Authority, Chair of Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, President of the Hawaii Developers Council, and Chair of the Urban Land Institute Hawaii. Christine was awarded developer of the year by NAIOP, PBN's 40-under-40 Community Leader of the Year, YWCA's Women Leader, Girl Scouts Women Leader of the year, General Contractor's Developer of the Year, and SBA's Industry Advocate of the Year. Christine believes Hawaii's future depends on civic engagement and dedicates significant time and resources towards community service.

MIKE KAI
Senior Pastor,
Inspire Church

Mike Kai is an entrepreneur, international speaker, pastor, and author of The Pound for Pound Principle and Plateaus, as well as the founder of the Influencer?s Network. He became Senior Pastor of Inspire Church (formerly known as Hope Chapel West Oahu) in 2001 and transitioned a congregation of 40 people to a multi-site model and a global, digital platform reaching thousands of people every week. He has spoken at international conferences and roundtables and since the COVID travel restrictions, Mike and the Inspire Team have successfully launched online conferences in the U.S., South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and Asia.

Mike is a gifted communicator and is passionate about training and equipping leaders, as well as establishing and developing key principles that help build personal lives, families, communities, and businesses. Mike is able to come into any environment, establish where people are presently at, and bring their skills and leadership to new levels. His communication style is practical, current, and has a clear step-by-step approach that people can implement daily to see God impact every area of their life. His humor and warmth approach draws people to him.

Mike and Lisa have been married for 26 years and are the proud parents of three daughters and two grandchildren.

ED CASE
Congressman,
Hawaii District 1

U.S. Representative Ed Case proudly represents Hawaii's First Congressional District (O'ahu from Makapu'u through Central Honolulu and Leeward to Mililani, Waipahu, Ewa, Kapolei and Ko Olina).

Congressman Case previously represented Hawaii's Second Congressional District (Windward O'ahu, North Shore, Central O'ahu, Wai'anae, Neighbor Islands, Northwestern Hawaiian Islands) from 2002 to 2007. He also served as Hawai'i State Representative from 1994 to 2002 in various positions including Majority Leader.

Ed Case was born and raised in Hilo. His great grandparents on his father's side emigrated to Hawai'i in 1896 from Kansas and his family has lived on O'ahu, Maui, Kaua'i and Hawai'i Island over the generations since. His mother was born and raised in Missouri and met his father in Boston where she was attending college and he was attending law school.

Ed attended Waiakea-Kai and Keaukaha Elementary Schools in Hilo before graduating from Hawai'i Preparatory Academy in Kamuela. He went on to graduate from Williams College in Massachusetts before working on Capitol Hill for three years as legislative assistant to U.S. Representative/Senator Spark Matsunaga of Hawai'i.

Following this first of three DC tours, Congressman Case graduated from University of California/Hastings College of Law in San Francisco before returning to Hawai'i to serve initially as law clerk to Hawai'i Supreme Court Chief Justice William Richardson. He then joined the Honolulu-based law firm of Carlsmith Ball, Hawaii's oldest, where for two decades he practiced litigation, property, transactional, business and government law and rose from associate to partner and managing partner.

Following his initial service as U.S. Representative, Case practiced law for seven years with the Honolulu firm of Bays Lung Rose & Holma, where he also served as managing attorney. He then served for five years as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Outrigger Enterprises Group, one of Hawaii's oldest hotel and resort companies with properties throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific-Asia-Indian Ocean region.

Case is married to Audrey (Nakamura), a sansei (third generation from Japan) whose Hawai'i roots are in Honolulu and Kona. Audrey was Ed's Hawai'i Prep classmate and worked for four decades as a flight attendant with Pan American and United. They have four children, a daughter-in law and now their first grandchild.

In his spare time ... Ed enjoys hiking and other outdoor and water activities, especially sailing and bodysurfing. Ed and Audrey also enjoy travel and family activities with a renewed emphasis on babysitting.
