DESCRIPTION:This 4-hour couorse is sesigned to instruct construction industry employers\, managers\, supervisors\, safety professionals and competent persons responsible for compiance with OSHA's Final Rule for Respirable Crystalline Silica (29 CFR 1926.1153). This Final Rule took effect on September 23\, 2017 for the Construction Industry (per 9/20/17 memorandum\, during the first 30 days of enforcement\, employers who OSHA determines are making a god faith effort to meet the new standard wil be assisted by OSHA in meeting th new requirements to assure understanding and compliance).\n\n\n\nCourse Topics:\n\nCourse participants will learn where to find Eespirable Crystalline Silica\, the 2 options for compliance\, the 2 options for monitoring\, and requirements for all employers with potential exposure.
