This course provides these professionals with the training skills needed to effectively use NAHB course materials to teach the NAHB Education curriculum. You will come away with concepts and tools to help you bridge the gap between knowing the information and teaching it to others. \n\n\n\nClass size limited to 10 participants. \nAs a graduate\, you will be able to:\n\n\n Describe adult learning principles and how they impact training.\n Prepare to teach NAHB instructor-led\, classroom courses.\n Present information and concepts effectively in a classroom setting.\n Use questioning techniques to facilitate learning.\n Conduct learning activities to provide opportunities for practical application of knowledge and skills.\n Use visual aids to support learning.\n\n\nWho should take this class?\n\nBuilding industry professionals who wish to teach NAHB educational instructor-led\, classroom courses\, new trainers or experienced teachers who have had no formal education in training\, or anyone who wants a refresher to improve their classroom training skills\n\nDesignations and Continuing Education\n\nThis course is required to become an approved NAHB instructor for designation courses.
