DESCRIPTION:BIA's Construction Safety & Injury Prevention (CSIP) Program is available statewide to address construction safety and health hazards\, targeting workers\, safety staff\, managers\, and owners.\n\n\n\nThe CSIP Program addresses the HIOSH State and Federal Construction standards compliance\, in particular regarding the injury prevention\, with the goal of improving workplace safety and health through the management of occupational safety and health standards\, by helping Hawaii's construction businesses train workers\, safety staff\, and employers in safety and injury prevention. \n\n\n\nManagers\, Employers\, Supervisor Staff are an integrated part of ensuring a safe workplace. This session will provide crucial information so that participants can navigate OSHA inspections\, ensuring staff safety\, and creating an individualized Safety & Injury Prevention Plan (a requirement for businesses with more than 25 employees and an essential part of a comprehensive safety plan for all businesses)\, in addition to the regulations pertaining to Hawaii Revised Statutes 12-110-2 \n\n\n\nTopics Include:\n\n	Employee Engagement\n	Hazard Identification Plan & Hazard Control\n	OSHA Inspections\n	Workplace Safety Rules & Job Safety Analysis\n	Emergency Planning & Emergency Response Procedures\n	Employer Responsibilities & Disciplinary Policy\n	Anti-Retaliation\n	Completion of a Safety & Injury Prevention Plan: a workplace specific\, customized safety plan
